The Theory of Brainwave Entrainment

by George on August 20, 2010

Entraining the brain to a desired state
If external stimulus is applied to the brain, it becomes possible to entrain the brain frequency from one stage to another. For example, if a person is in beta stage (highly alert) and a stimulus of 10Hz is applied to his/her brain for some time, the brain frequency is likely to change towards the applied stimulus. The effect will be relaxing to the person. This phenomenon is also called the frequency following response.

Brain Entrainment and Schumann Frequency

Creating Resonance Between The Waves Of The Brain & The Earth’s Ionosphere
Summary:
Like a vibrating fork, the Earth too creates its own set of vibrations in tandem with the entire Ionosphere that envelopes it. These vibrations resonate at specific frequencies. What happens when we entrain our brain to resonate at the same frequency? This article explores.
